First drive: 2011 Porsche 911 Speedster

Click not many sites Porsche to view GalleryThere better suited for a lively drive in the new 2011 911 Speedster than Palm Springs, California. Just over 100 miles southeast of Hollywood and the hairpin sprinkled Mulholland Drive where James Dean of his brand new 356 Speedster almost 60 years flogged, we found some according to our own winding streets. And believe us, we are full use.

Hearing back after interviews?

I am a marketing major in Manhattan and I have been applying to some internships. I am frustrated that I have not heard whether or not I am accepted so I can plan for next semester.

The first position I applied for a few weeks back. I came in for an interview which I thought went well. I sent the woman a thank you note, and she replied the next day saying she enjoyed meeting with me, and asked for my availability. I thought this was a strong sign that I got the internship

I told her my availability and waited for a response. I heard nothing for two weeks so I sent another email asking an update on the internship. She responded the next day to say she would let me know by Friday. It is now Saturday and I didn't hear anything.

The second position I applied for online, and I got a call asking me to come in to interview. I came in Tuesday of this week, my interview went well I thought, and the guy told me he had one more person to interview later that day, and I would hear from HR the end of the week. Once again, the week is over and I have still heard nothing.

Should I be concerned? I suppose people are just busy and probably forget about low priorities like interns... I guess I expect too much for people to stick to their word on getting back to you by a certain date.

Basically I am asking - Is the best thing for me to just keep waiting? I feel it would sound desperate to follow up AGAIN with the woman from the first interview. And I only interviewed for the second one a few days ago, so maybe they just needed more time to make a decision.

Arghhh, I just want to know whether I got either of them! LOL
